Avoid the cost of eating out and plan a nice picnic! It’s more unique, than going out to eat and you won’t have to pay through the roof for a bottle of wine! Insistent on going out? For tech-savvy moms, a web cam is a great gift idea! There are many inexpensive cams on the market (especially if you have a PC) that are also user-friendly.  Another idea that worked really great for me last year was Build-A-Bear. It may seem childish but it actually made a really excellent mom gift. Customize your bear in clothes & accessories to match your style and record your voice! At the push of a button she’ll be able to hear her adorable son/daughter’s voice saying “I Love You” (or a variation of it) whenever she misses you! This option will run you anywhere from $30 – $45, depending on the bear you choose and how you dress it.
