Win $500 from NFT
If you’ve read this blog before, there is a good chance you know how heavily we support Not For Tourists and value their incredibly helpful guidebooks. We reference our copy all the time. The people at NFT are having a contest to promote their new iPhone apps. Winners get $500 and other fun goodies! Many of you reading this are unemployed, so you have no excuse not to find a friend with a video camera (if you live in LA, you HAVE a friend with a video camera) and come up with a creative entry! NFT is looking for a sense of humor to match its own warped view of reality. We’re looking for submissions by budding (and not-so-budding) filmmakers for a short (30-60 seconds) marketing video to pimp the release of the NFT iPhone Apps. (Manhattan is first, but don’t worry LA. Yours will be coming very soon!).
Here’s the skinny: -Deadline: June 15, 2009 -Video must be 30-60 seconds long -Video must be posted to your YouTube account -Swearing is okay, but not more than in Reservoir Dogs -Top 3 videos will be voted on by NFT members -Full contest rules here.
