Twilight Dance Series on the Pier

By Danit

santamoniapierThe Santa Monica Pier features music from around the world every Thursday night this summer as part of the Twilight Dance Series! The event is free to the public and Santa Monica is pretty good about cheap parking, whether it’s on the street or one of the many public lots. The performances start at 7pm and all ages are welcome. For all you wine fans out there, check out the Seaside Wine Tasting Pavilion. $20 gets you 5 tastings and a full glass of your favorite!

If you only go once, I highly recommend seeing Idan Raichel on August 13th. He is Israeli but his music is really eclectic and has more of a world influence (a lot of it isn’t even in Hebrew). I’ve seen him live before and he’s pretty incredible!

This is my FAVORITE event all year…we ride our bikes and use the FREE bike valet, grab snacks & $2 Chuck from Trader Joe’s and enjoy a funfilled night with friends on the sand, under the stars…This week the Viceroy has happy hour drinks from 9pm-close as the after party! If you come, we have a lit up canvas sign that looks like the Pier sign, come by our blanked and say hi!
