Free Internet on American Airlines
I’m writing this post from American Airlines flight 34, en route to JFK. Yes, I am online on an airplane and it didn’t cost me a bundle. Actually, it was completely FREE!
American is promoting their new in-flight wireless service Go Go by letting you try it out free of charge between now and August 23rd with promotional code AAWiFi76194A1. The GoGo in-flight service is available in American’s 767-200 aircrafts, and some MD-80 aircrafts. Without the code, they charge $12.95/flight for the internet usage.
I’ve been signed on for about an hour now and am really impressed with the connection from 37,000 feet! I don’t know if I’d pay $12.95 for it though. Maybe if it was an international flight. Or if I had a job…
