Moon Festival - Chinese acrobats, moon cakes, and Shaolin warriors…what’s not to love?A good opportunity to get more familiar with Chinese culture and with the moon (yes, telescopes will be involved).

West Hollywood Book Fair - This is the coolest book fair I’ve ever heard of…in addition to books and authors, you can expect performances, celebrities, writing workshops and a Cirque De Soleil performance. I kind of wish this was going on for a whole week!

All Weekend
LA County Fair (for cheap!) – Since it’s closing weekend at the LA County Fair in Pomona, they are offering super cheap admission to get you to come out. Admission is only $1 until 1pm, soft drinks are $1 from 1pm-4pm, and rides & games are $1 between 4pm-7pm. Talk about a smart incentive to get you to stick around all day! Sadly, parking is still $10 so try to carpool.
Cost: $1 (but realistically you’ll probably spend about $15-$20)
Pasadena Pumpkin Festival - We at LA Decostified love Fall festivals, so you can expect to see a handful of them on here soon! The Pasadena Pumpkin Festival is geared more towards kids and the kid in you. Although I think if the kid in you tries to ride a pony, they might deny you. There will be carnival games, performances, a petting zoo, and more.Consider this festival a great way to prep for the Farmers Market one in two weeks.
